Get MLM Leads – 3 Things You MUST Know To Get Targeted Traffic

Where do you get MLM leads?  I’m not talking about how to find a whole bunch of people who have NO interest in you, your product or your company (because those leads are essentially worthless to you).  Anyone can find a big volume of random leads.

I’m talking about getting laser-beam type targeted leads.  If you want to get MLM leads like that, there are three things you MUST know.

Must Know Fact #1 – The Kind Of Traffic WILL Dramatically Affect How Good The Lead Will Be: Most people don’t evaluate different types of traffic based on the quality of the leads that traffic generates, and that is a big mistake — especially if you want to get MLM leads (good, targeted MLM leads that is). 

The truth is that your conversion rates will vary tremendously (both for prospect to lead and for lead to buyer conversion rates), depending on how someone found your squeeze page.  That is why you do not just want to know how to ‘get MLM leads,’ you want to know what kind of MLM leads you will get depending on the type of traffic method you use to get them.

Let me give you an example that may shock you.  Did you know that if someone clicks on a link in an article to go to your squeeze page, they are about 200% more likely to opt in to your list than if they clicked on a PPC ad to get to your squeeze page?  Not only that, but those leads from the articles are also much more likely to spend money after they’ve opted in than leads that you get from PPC advertising.

So when you talk about wanting to get MLM leads, one major consideration with that is to think about from where you want to get them.  Not all traffic is created equal, and that is truer no place than when you are talking about how to get MLM leads.

Must Know Fact #2 – Free Traffic Is Not Really Free Most Of The Time: There are really only two kinds of traffic: free and paid.  I know this one at first seems a bit silly.  You want to know how to get MLM leads, and knowing that there are two basic kinds of traffic — free and paid — is not a mystery to you. 

What you want to be careful about in evaluating free versus paid traffic to get MLM leads, though, is to understand that with a few exceptions, often “free” traffic isn’t really free.  No, I am not saying that there are actual hidden costs (i.e., that you have to spend actual dollars), but most “free” traffic to get MLM leads does come at a cost: YOUR TIME. 

Having said that, in terms of getting quality targeted leads, some of the best forms of traffic are free (i.e., don’t cost money).  I’ve already given you a pretty incredible statistic about the quality of lead you get from Article Marketing. 

One of the best ways to get MLM leads that is totally free is through joint ventures and list sharing.  You cannot get better MLM leads than through that.  Doing a list exchange like this isn’t difficult and it’s a great way to get MLM leads quickly — and lots of them — without costing you a dime.  Look for people in your niche market and create relationships with them. You never know what will come from it.

Must Know Fact #3 – Some Of The Best Leads Are Where Most Aren’t Even Looking For Them: You will hear many “experts” tell you that banner advertising is dead.  Don’t listen to them, as banner ads are one of the best ways to get MLM leads (and, actually, to get the most targeted MLM leads).

Why banner ads?  Well first, you can run them without emptying your bank account.  They are very reasonably priced.  Even better, though, is that they are a great yet underused source to get MLM leads.  Trust me that many of your competitors completely overlook them.

Here is how you use banner ads to get MLM leads.  Say you’re marketing a product in the weight loss industry.  Go to Google.com and type in “weight loss blog,” “weight loss information,” “weight loss forum,” etc – anything that would likely pull up a content rich website that discusses information about losing weight.

Click on every link in the search results for page 1 and 2 (no need to click on sponsored listings). What you’re looking for is popular websites that allow you to buy ad space on their site.  There are sites with tens of thousands of visitors every month (some had hundreds of thousands of visitors every month) that will allow you to run an ad(s) there. This is a simple yet dangerous way to get MLM leads.
