Finding a legitimate affiliate business opportunity with a good support system will help increase your affiliate marketing online success.   Often the how the compensation plan of the company is set up can be a reflection of how the support will be.   Let me explain, for example, company ‘A’ has their pay plan structured where first two sales of a new recruited member would ‘pass up’ to their sponsor, the person who brought them into the company.  Then after two sales the new member would break away from their sponsor to do the same.   In this system, a person is always having to work with new people quickly and constantly focus on bringing in new affiliates to generate any amount of income.  For a different example, company ‘B’s system is structured to pay each member with matching overrides to sponsors.  So an affiliate member would make just as much as each member on their team… say you had 10 people and each made $1000 dollars, doesn’t sound too unrealistic, one could then make $10, 000 from these sales alone, never mind what other new sales the individual could have made on their own.  Company ‘B’ sets it up for a good support system, why wouldn’t you want to help someone do well when you are going to benefit just as much as they are?  In comparison to company ‘A’ where everyone kinda has to take care of and focus on themselves to do well.

As well consider what the company has available for helping its members to do well in their affiliate business.  Is the company set up where more advanced people will get a running start or do internet newbies get a chance to do just as well?  This can be answered by looking at what the company has to offer for setting up your online business i.e. websites, landing pages, payment processors etc.  as well, what does the company offer for you to share with prospects?  Not everyone has the gift of gab, even if you do, it’s easier and less time consuming to direct them to a website or webinar to have their questions answered and shows them prospect that they can do it too!

Last but not least, and I think most important is training.

If your affiliate company doesn’t provide the proper training for you to promote your website how will you be successful at reaching your target niche?  Just having your website isn’t enough you need to know what to do to get interested customers visiting it.  Knowing how to do keyword research and how to use related keywords in various forms of marketing, will attract that key targeted traffic to your website and is essential for your affiliate marketing online success!
